Our September 11th General Membership meeting was very productive; two new seats for your Board have been approved and the Board will vote to fill one of them at our next Board meeting. We would like to see more people at the meetings and we need your help. Please encourage your neighbors to attend; CIRA can make a difference and we need everyone to work toward that difference.

At our next meeting on September 11th at 5:00 PM, we will be voting to amend the CIRA bylaws.
The purpose of this vote is to create two additional At-Large chairs on the Board. If approved:
One chair will be filled.
One chair will remain vacant in case we need to fill it in the future.
Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the proposals before the vote.

CIRA was founded July 27, 2026; our Bylaws were drafted by the Planning Committee and passed by the membership July 31, 2026.
On August 7, 2026 the membership elected their first board, consisting of four Board members, three At Large members and one Alternate At-Large member.
We are very excited to have started on this journey and look forward to successful future.
